The K-SAA is thrilled to report the tremendous success of our global celebration of Lord Byron's bicentenary, featuring a professional dramatic reading of his masterpiece Sardanapalus: A Tragedy (1821). In partnership with Red Bull Theater in NYC, we extended invitations to communities worldwide to participate in this unique cultural event, offering complimentary viewing passes, the full written text of the play, thoughtful discussion questions, and promotional materials to help organizers gather their local communities. The response was extraordinary—over 100 watch parties formed across the globe, creating a truly international celebration of Byron's enduring literary legacy.
