“Music when soft voices live”: Shelley’s reception in contemporary music

We are delighted to host a talk by Dr. Camila Oliveira, postdoctoral assistant at the University of Lisbon, Portugal. She holds a PhD in English Literature from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and King’s College London, having completed a dissertation on the Portuguese translation of William Blake’s Jerusalem: The Emanation of the Giant of Albion. Her current topics of study are Romanticism and music reception, whose connections she is exploring within her monograph project William Blake and Contemporary Music.
