A New Website and Digital Collections Archive for the Keats-Shelley House
The Keats-Shelley House is thrilled to launch its new website and online digital collections, which bring together for the first time the museum's significant collection of some four hundred autograph manuscripts, as well as the museum's collection of artworks and relics pertaining to the world's greatest romantic poets.
This exciting new resource accompanies the start of our Keats-Shelley200 celebrations to celebrate the lives and acknowledge the extraordinary legacies of John Keats and Percy Bysshe Shelley, who died in Italy two centuries ago. We’ve used the museum’s recent closure and unexpected quiet time to finish the task of putting these collections online, including our unique collection of autograph letters, most of which have never been exhibited at the House before.
We know that visitors will be able to come and see us again in Rome soon but in the meantime we’re pleased to be able to share this resource with you.
The Keats-Shelley House website includes a newly designed online book and gift shop, filled with bespoke and exclusive merchandise inspired by romantic poetry and by our collections. All proceeds from sales go directly to the Keats-Shelley House, and your support is valued at this challenging time.

La Keats-Shelley House è felice di lanciare il suo nuovo sito web e il catalogo digitale online della sua collezione, che riunisce per la prima volta sia l'importante raccolta di circa quattrocento manoscritti autografi del museo sia una collezione di opere d'arte e cimeli dei più grandi poeti romantici al mondo. Questa nuova ed entusiasmante risorsa segna l'inizio dei festeggiamenti di Keats-Shelley200, volti a celebrare le vite e riconoscere la straordinaria eredità di Keats e Shelley. Nel periodo in cui il museo è stato chiuso a causa del Covid-19, durante un momento di inattesa tranquillità per noi, abbiamo completato la pubblicazione del nostro materiale online, in cui è presente una collezione unica di lettere autografe, per la maggior pate sconosciuta al pubblico.
Sappiamo che i visitatori potranno tornare a trovarci presto a Roma, ma nel frattempo siamo lieti di poter condividere questo tesoro con voi.
