The K-SAA's Annual Reception and Awards Dinner was a magnificent celebration at the MLA Convention in Philadelphia. All festivities took place at the beautiful and iconic Notary Hotel on Saturday, January 6, 2024.

The evening included honoring our distinguished scholars, Deidre Lynch and Karen Swann, as well as announcing our Pforzheimer Grant winners and the K-SAA Essay Prize winner.

With both familiar and new faces, including many graduate students, several contingent faculty members, and scholars and teachers of various periods beyond the Romantic era, the convivial event has set an incredibly high bar for our coming banquet, which is set to take place in New Orleans in January 2025.
