After three years of virtual Zoom celebrations, the K-SAA's Annual Reception and Awards Dinner returned in person during the MLA Convention in San Francisco. All festivities took place at the beautiful and iconic SF Palace Hotel on Saturday, January 7, 2023.
The evening included honoring our distinguished scholars, Elizabeth Fay and Greg Kucich, as well as announcing our Pforzheimer Grant winners and the K-SAA Essay Prize winner.
With both familiar and new faces, including many graduate students, several contingent faculty members, and scholars and teachers of various periods beyond the Romantic era, the convivial event has set an incredibly high bar for our coming banquet, which is set to take place in Philadelphia in January 2024.
