Save the Date! Stuart Curran Symposium October 2020

The Curran symposia form the core of the Romantics Bicentennial initiative and are named in honor of Stuart Curran, for his brilliant, decade-long leadership as President of the K-SAA, during which time he initiated the Symposium series.This year's K-SAA Symposium will be held at Harvard's Houghton Library on Friday 23rd October, 2020. It is titled:"1820: Aesthetics, Politics, and the Legacies of Romanticism": A Stuart Curran Symposium, celebrating the bicentenary of Keats's and P. B. Shelley's 1820 Volumes.The symposium will include panels on the 1820 volumes of Keats and P. B. Shelley, an "After 1820" roundtable, a poetry reading with commentary on Keats and Shelley in contemporary poetry, and an exhibition of relevant materials from the Houghton Library collection.Further information will be released soon at https://romantics200.org/commemorative-events/
