Call for Abstracts: K-SAA Panel at MLA Philadelphia 2024

The Keats-Shelley Association of America (k-saa.org) would like to invite abstracts for the following guaranteed panel at the MLA Convention in Philadelphia in January 2024:

Disabling Environments

This panel explores Romantic-era disability, health inequity, and environmental harm. Possible topics might include constructions of non-normative embodiment, the development of professional medicine, and the environmental consequences of industrialization.

Please send 300-word abstracts and brief bios to Dr. Fuson Wang (University of California, Riverside) at fusonw@ucr.edu. The deadline for submissions is Wednesday, March 15, 2023.
