Bigger 6 | CECS Article Prize

An announcement from the Bigger 6 Collective and CECS at York:  We're pleased to announce a prize for the best article from 2020 in Romanticism studies by an emerging scholar of colour. 2020 was a difficult year, but this prize seeks to recognize the rigorous, exciting scholarship that it generated. The article can address any topic within the field of Romanticism and we understand 'emerging' to include PhD students, early career researchers, and post-docs, and those pre-tenure or without a tenure-track position. Articles should have been published in a peer-review journal during 2020. Entries will be read by members of the Bigger 6 collective and the £250 prize awarded by the University of York's Centre for Eighteenth Century Studies. The winning author will be asked to contribute to an online research seminar at CECS in June, 2021. Please submit PDFs of your article to Bigger6@york.ac.uk by the 20th of March.
